Site Visit

I went to site visit yesterday. The site I choose for my dissertation case study is Pangsapuri Impian Baiduri. It is located along Jalan 51a/224,off Jalan 224 in Skysen 51a, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It has few blocks. These are low-cost flat development build on leasehold land by government. It is 650 sq,ft per unit, 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets,kitchen and living room. The condition of these flats are not good.

The 2nd site i visited is Taman Sri Sentosa. It is located at Old Klang Road, KL. Units have a build up size of  700sq.ft, 3 bedrooms,2 toilets.

I will analyze more about these buildings in my dissertation and examine the existing problems and find a way to solve the problem.

    As mentioned before, your site visit should also try to determine not only the design flaws and problems, but the living conditions that the users have to deal with. Your visit, above all else, should establish the quality of life of those living there, in order to make your analysis more compelling and to validate your future suggestions and strategies.
